We are revamping Knives Australia into the AKC Members magazine, the official organ of the Australasian Knife Collectors Club. In its new role the magazine will be able to provide a more personalised service for knife collectors, users, customers and novice knifemakers - the heartland of Knives Australia readers. Of necessity, we will start with a slightly smaller magazine (32 pages - 16 in full colour)  and not produced as frequently - perhaps only twice per year  ..... we will allow it to grow into what our members want and need, and with what we can provide. The AKC membership has increased slightly to $30 per year ($36.00 New Zealand/Asia/Pacific; $42.00 Rest of World) to accommodate both the increase in printing and postage costs that have arisen over the past years.

We have just completed a major upgrade to the AKC Mailorder catalogue (40 pages!). The first 'new-look' AKC Club package (40 page catalogue and 32 page Club magazine) should be on its way to members by mid-to-late March (it's almost completed) As you may appreciate, it has been a major task (and as our mailout will be to over 4000 members nationwide -a substantial cost in post alone - we need to get it right!
