Salt 1 - C88  (manufactured in Spyderco's H-1 steel)

Spyderco numbers the first 201 pieces of any model when it's released.
Number 0 always belongs to Sal.
Here's your only opportunity to purchase Number 164!
Complete with the original packaging (Spyderco box) and manufacture date 10/31/03

H-1 steel is a preciptiation-hardened alloy with .1% nitrogen that performs like carbon in the steel mixture but won't react to chlorine, making rust. It holds a sharp edge comparible to premium-carbon based knives. H-1 work-hardens at the cutting edge when processed and sharpened, raising the RC hardness and durability. Simply put, H-1 is ideal for advanced cutting performanace in and around fresh and salt water. Internal knife conponents are also impervious to rust and pitting.

The large Salt C88 is rounded at blade's nose with a thicker tip where they are most in use. An enlarged Spyderco hole- (14mm) facilitates opening with gloved or wet hands. All Salt series knives have hollow ground blades, David Boye indent, lanyard holes for thong attachment in water, and an ambidextrous tip-up carry.

C75  Kiwi ~ form and function at its very best.

The Kiwi is Spyderco's high-tech approach to a traditional "gentleman's folder" with a handy 2 inch blade. The overly pronounced hump accommodates the opening hole and creates a placement point for the thumb.  A unique two-finger choil design comfortably positions your forefinger and middle finger making the Kiwi feel like a much larger knife in the hand.

Reminiscent of traditional old-timer pocketknives, Spyderco has used amber coloured jig bone scales ( amber / burnt brown) with brushed stainless bolsters on the handle. The blade steel is VG-10 and, in the tradition of a true gent's folder, this folder is clipless. Blade closes with a resounding click as the blade pulls back into the handle - just like well-made folders used to do!
A very classy concept for men and women.

C90F Stretch - An extremely functional and understated folder!
An understated well-balanced knife that feels 'just right' in the hand.   Available in plain edge or combo - partial serrated.  The C90's usability stretches (or extends) into more than one area of use. It covers several bases including hunting, outdoor pursuits or an an EDC (Every Day Carriage). The Stretch was engineered for comfort with a Kraton inlayed stainless handle. A steel dot centered in the Kraton acts as a contact point for the clip, letting it draw smoothly from the pocket - and of course, it can be engraved with a name or intials.

STRETCHING THE POINT - Keith Spencer (Knives Australia magazine - Issue 19, Spring 2005)
For the hunter who prefers to employ a folding knife to carry out fieldwork on feral Australian game the Spyderco Stretch C90 model is well worth a second look. The 9-cm blade has just enough edge-sweep to enable the user to carefully skin game and because the back of the blade curves in two stages down to a slim tip makes the blade ideal to use for boning.

There is a lot of comfort factored into the stylish handle, the curves combine with thumb and finger grooves so that the user has plenty of grip options to accommodate all sorts of trimming tasks in the process of dressing game. As well as a (removable) belt/pocket clip Spyderco has sensibly provided a thonghole for the time you may need to attach the folder to your wrist.

For those hunters who like the idea of belt/pocket clips for quick and easy accessibility of their folding knife, Spyderco have provided pre-drilled and tapped holes an both sides and at both ends of the Stretch. This allows four carry options – left or right hand side and tip-up or tip-down depending upon how the user prefers to carry the folding hunter.

When a large folding knife is properly constructed, which includes an inspiring grip, it feels good to have a bit of extra weight in the palm while you are steering the edge and tip around the dressing job. The Stretch handle is solid stainless steel inlayed on each side with patches of slip-resistant, black chequered Kraton (rubber). To reduce the resistance of drawing the knife when the clip attachment is engaged on the belt, pocket or webbing an oval steel dot is located in the centre of the handle. It seems they'’e thought of everything to help the hunter when Spyderco created the Stretch model. Under the circumstances the C90 is reasonably priced at under $300 retail.

      C97 -  Viele II - in black

C70STi:  A.T.R. (at the ready) Titanium
The 'keep it super simple' [or 'keep it simple, stupid' if you're in Oz!] statement was our catalyst when engineering the ATR.
With fewer moving and wearing parts and high-tech components, it is a perpetual workhorse. Loaded with high-tech fetaures, this is the quintessential tactical folder.
This all metal folder has an integral Compression Lock that provides heavy-duty lock strength. The blade is a hollow ground 'modified dagger' with a non-sharpened swedge along the spine. The titanium handle has pre-drilled holes that are mirrored in the clip increasing gripping/indexing power.  Holes in the handle trim its weight and flares on opposing ends result in a finger choil and pinky shelf for a confident grip in any draw position.
The Cobra Hood positions the thumb under the hood's overhang for rapid (by feel) deployment and forms a seat for the thumb during cutting. The blade steel is CPMS30V and the hollow-ground blade features an unsharpened swedge, integral compression lock, stainless steel handle, Cobra Hood, and ambidextrous tip-up carriage.

      Specifications:
      • Blade steel - CPMS30V
