Traditional 'Real Lambfoot' landowners blade - perpetuating the English-Australian cutlery link since settlement. The Lord & Gentry style pocketknife found its fame as a rural edged tool during the eighteen hundreds and produced in great volume.

A rare opportunity to acquire a genteel rendtion of a highly practical and historic collectable pocketknife that has played a part in the connected cultures of two countries on opposite sides of the world.

The Lord & Gentry model handcrafted by A.Wright & Sons, Sheffield  has a mirror-polished 6.5cm lambfoot blade ground from high carbon steel.  The handle is fitted with attactive snakewood scales (very dense South American hardwood) and furnished with polished nickel silver bolsters (2) and pins, accompanied by brass liners supporting the back-spring. The back-spring and liners have a 'chased work-back'- a finely chiselled pattern, pecular to English cutlery industry and carried out by specialised artisans in Sheffield.  Comes complete with Sheffield-made polished black leather pouch and sharpening steel.
